Play on Wheels (POW)

Managed by Smart Play Network and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund from April 2024 to March 2027, Play on Wheels (POW) is a free mobile project operating from a fully resourced van to reach children, families and practitioners across Fife.

We offer play based activities which are designed for parent/carers and their children from pre-birth up to age 4 years. Our fun and engaging activities support play and interaction during the early stages of child development, and share key messages and ideas for playing, talking and reading.​

Our aim is to support parents/carers to increase their confidence in supporting their child’s wellbeing and developmental needs in their early years. Using a range of low cost, sustainable playful materials, resources and activities to support speech language and communication.
